As we start the next era of Danish Patisserie some changes have become necessary to move forward. Due to operational efficiencies, and existing ranges within the Cakes West brands, we will no longer be continuing with our Halal certification, effective immediately.
I would also like to take this opportunity to notify you that our range will change and therefore there will be different allergens present on our premises.
The most significant change will be the presence and use of peanuts on site, which are in current Cakes West products, and may be introduced into the Danish Patisserie range. Whilst all care is taken during the production process to limit or prevent possible cross contamination of allergens like this, there is no guarantee that it can’t or won’t happen, thus all labelling will change to state: produced in a facility where nuts, including peanuts, are used.
